New Submission Deadline Dates Effective April 1, 2020 and Beyond
Effective for April 1, 2020 effective dates and beyond, Aetna has extended the Small Group new business submission deadline (cutoff) dates.
The new cutoff date will be the 5th of the month for first of the month cases.
If the cutoff date falls on the weekend, the case will need to be submitted by end of day on the Monday following.
Please Remember:
- Incomplete cases will be moved to the next available effective date because Aetna cannot process cases that are missing vital information.
- Sold groups’ enrollment can submitted via the eList Tool.
- The eList Tool is available on Producer World, under Forms.
- The eList Tool format must not be amended in any manner.
- The required enrollment information is to be entered into the eList Tool (forms not to be submitted).
