Fourth Quarter Renewals will be staggered and released according to the following schedule:

  • 10/1/18Renewals posted to Producer Toolbox on 6/27/18; mailed to the group on 7/19/18
  • 11/1/18Renewals posted to Producer Toolbox on 7/27/18; mailed to the group on 8/15/18
  • 12/1/18Renewals posted to Producer Toolbox between 8/24 – 8/28/18; mailed to the group between 9/12-9/18/18

NEW Relaxed Medical Participation!

  • 25% for groups of 5 or more enrolled subscribers
  • 65% for groups of 1-4 subscribers enrolled
  • Reminder – Individual coverage on and off the Exchange is a valid waiver with Anthem

Specialty Updates

  • Rate Reduction Statewide for Anthem Dental Complete PPO plans effective 7/1/18
  • No Waiting Periods on Employer Sponsored dental plans with a minimum of 2 enrolled
  • NEW Reduced Participation Guidelines for Dental and Vision effective 7/1/18

    • – 2-4 eligible: the greater of 65% or a minimum of 2 enrolled
    – 4-100 eligible: the greater of 25% or a minimum of 2 enrolled
    – Dual Option Dental: minimum of 10 eligible with a minimum of 2 enrolled in each plan (5 for PPO with Ortho)

  • 24-month rate guarantees on all new specialty lines through 2018
  • 5% Bundling Discounts when placing new dental coverage plus any additional specialty line
  • No De-9C required when placing standalone specialty lines; use the Standalone Specialty Employer Application and Standalone Specialty Employee Application for new specialty only groups
  • Use the Updated Specialty Benefit Modification Form to add or change specialty coverage on an existing Anthem medical group
