Two New Underwriting Deals for Q3 and Q4 2018!

Health Net has two new Small Business Group underwriting promotions for July 1 – December 15, 2018 effective dates.

1. Skip the paperwork with the EnhancedCare PPO Choice package! This package is available statewide and gives employers the choice of offering any combination of HMO, HSP, EnhancedCare PPO (where available) and Bronze Full Network PPO plans.

  • Groups of 10+ eligible that are enrolling a minimum of 10 active subscribers – No DE-9C, payroll or prior carrier bill required..

    • • The employer must fill out a Participation Attestation Form attesting they are meeting 50% participation.
    • Eligible employees who are waiving coverage will be required to fill out waivers.

  • Groups of 6+ eligible that are enrolling a minimum of 6 active subscribers may submit a prior carrier bill in lieu of a DE-9C.

    • • All but 2 employees on the prior carrier bill must enroll.
    • If the group enrolls 3 or more employees not on the prior carrier bill, 2 weeks of payroll is required for each enrollee not on the bill.
    • Waivers are not required for anyone not enrolling.

2. Sell Salud with 2! Now your clients can offer Salud HMO y Mas with just two active subscribers and no participation percentage requirement!

  • Groups may mix and match any Salud HMO y Mas network plans.
  • Plus, Salud HMO y Mas can now be written alongside other carriers.

Doctor House Calls for PPO Members

On-Demand Doctor House Calls through Heal are available to all small group new and existing PPO members as of May 1, 2018. Heal is available by appointment in select urban areas from 8 AM to 8 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
