Medical Plan Updates:
Health Net adds 6 new plans for new and renewing groups effective 10/1/2018, SmartCare network now available in CaliforniaChoice for Rating Areas 7, 9, 15, 16, 17 and 18. Platinum and Gold plans are available now with 3 Health Net HMO networks.

- Health Net SmartCare E Platinum HMO

- Health Net Salud D Gold HMO
- Health Net SmartCare E Gold HMO
Western Health Advantage Plans available in Rating Area 7 effective 10/1/2018 for new groups and renewing groups at renewal.
Effective 10/1/2018 the following plans will be discontinued for new groups and at renewal for existing groups:
- Health Net Salud A Platinum HMO
- Health Net WholeCare B Platinum HMO
- Health Net PureCare A Gold HSP
4th Quarter Rate Actions:
- Anthem Blue Cross – rate changes to all plans
- Health Net – rate changes to all plans
- Kaiser Permanente – rate pass
- Sharp Health Plan – rate changes to all plans
- Sutter Health Plus – rate changes to all plans
- UnitedHealthcare – rate changes to all plans
- Western Health Advantage – rate changes to all plans
- Ancillary Plans – rate pass
New Q4 Employer Application and Q4 Employee Application only updated applications for 10/1/2018 will be accepted for new business effective 10/1/2018 and later, earlier versions will not be accepted.
