Employer Clients

Account IDs and benefit plan names have changed. This new information has been shared with employers, and will continue to be reflected on all applicable Sharp Health Plan correspondence. These changes will help us create greater consistency for your employer clients across all of our communications.

Member Clients

All Sharp Health Plan Commercial and Individual and Family Plan (IFP) members will receive new Member ID cards that include new ID numbers starting with the number 92. New Member ID cards will offer higher durability and easier access to member cost share and contact information. Members should continue using their current ID cards through December 31, 2017.

Members who made a benefit change, selected a new Primary Care Physician (PCP), or changed their name, may receive multiple ID cards in December. Members will be able to identify the correct ID card by the information on the front of the ID card. The correct ID card will reflect the most recent changes that were made.

On January 1, 2018, members will need to use their new Member ID card and number when accessing care and filling prescriptions. If you have member clients who do not receive a new ID card by January 1, please have them visit sharphealthplan.com to complete a request for a new ID card.

Beginning January 1, 2018, Members will have access to an upgraded, mobile-friendly portal at sharphealthplan.com/login, where they can check benefits, view claims, read correspondence, view their drug lists, change their Primary Care Physician, and much more. Existing users will have to re-register using their new Member ID number.
