Blue Shield December and January Submission Deadlines Extended
Due to high volumes in new small group business, Blue Shield is extending the submission deadlines as follows:
- December 1, 2019 effective date groups have until December 30, 2019 to submit.
- January 1, 2020 effective date groups have until January 31, 2020 to submit.
- Groups applying under the Special Enrollment Period for Small Groups (SEP) must still meet Blue Shield’s 12/31/2019 at 5:00 pm submission deadline.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Once approved, the effective date cannot be changed. Please confirm when sending your groups to RBG that the group agrees to the requested effective date and understands the effective date cannot be changed.
Rogers Benefit Group respectfully requests groups be submitted 2 business days prior to the carrier cut off. Please contact your RBG Sales Representative for additional information.
