Special Enrollment Period Window Opening Soon for Groups Unable to Meet Minimum Participation and/or Contribution Requirements
Don’t miss the once-a-year window to help your small group clients that are unable to meet minimum participation and/or contribution requirements. These groups are eligible for coverage with minimum participation and contribution requirements waived, per ACA mandate, during the Special Enrollment Period (SEP) for submissions received November 15 – December 15, 2020, for January 1, 2021, effective dates. Groups must meet all other small group eligibility requirements other than participation or contribution.
Submissions via the Special Enrollment Period must be 100% clean and complete and submitted within the SEP enrollment window – no exceptions.

To help our brokers have successful Special Enrollment Period outcomes, RBG requests all SEP group submissions be sent to your RBG team by Wednesday, December 9, 2020, to allow time for thorough review to ensure clean and complete submission by the carrier deadline.
